Adjunct Professor - Chemistry Lab

Requirements

• Candidates must have a BS in Chemistry or a related field. Applicants with PhDs and/or teaching experience will be given preference. Current PhD and MS graduate students will be considered to lead one section per semester.
• Job Responsibilities
• Duties include attending a weekly lab instructor meeting, delivering a short pre-lab lecture, supervising students during experiments, and grading assignments.

• For the fall 2026 semester, all courses will begin on Tuesday August 25 and end on Wednesday December 9.There are no classes on the following weeks:
• Week of August 24 (first week of class)
• Week of September 7 (Labor Day holiday)
• Week of October 19 (Fall Break)
• Week of November 23 (Thanksgiving)
• Week of December 7 (last week of class)
• General Chemistry I Lab (CHEM 112)
• Lab sections:
• Monday 2:30 - 6:20 pm
• Tuesday 1:30 - 5:20 pm
• Wednesday 2:30 - 6:20 pm
• Thursday 8:10 am - 12:00 pm
• Thursday 1:30 - 5:20 pm
• Friday 2:30 - 6:20 pm
• Weekly instructor meeting TBA
