- Lead or support Industrial Hygiene programs including exposure assessments, chemical safety, ventilation systems, noise monitoring, and occupational health initiatives.
- Support and manage critical safety programs including contractor safety, electrical safety, LOTO, working at heights, confined space entry, and radiation safety.
- Analyze EHS performance data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner closely with engineers, operations leaders, facilities teams, and contractors while influencing stakeholders to increase ownership and accountability for EHS performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field, or equivalent experience as per business needs.
- 2+ years of experience in environmental health and safety with a bachelor's degree, or 1+ year with a master's degree.
- Proficiency in regulatory compliance, risk assessment, and problem-solving in EHS domains.
- Ability to conduct workplace assessments and audits, including knowledge of environmental permitting and EHS incident investigations.
- Familiarity with EHS standards, regulatory bodies, and best practices.
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills with an emphasis on continuous process improvement and innovation.
- Proven ability to collaborate across teams and influence positive safety outcomes.
- Enthusiasm for promoting a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility.
- Working knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
- Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, CIH, CSP, ISO Lead Auditor, Radiation Safety, or equivalent.
