About the role

The mission of our Consumer Retention Marketing team is to build lasting relationships with our customers as soon as they engage with DoorDash by providing them with a personalized, cross-channel experience that delights them and drives them to return to DoorDash to find the products, merchants, and deals that are relevant to them. Within the broader Consumer Retention Marketing team, the Consumer Promotions Strategy team blends data analytics with strategy to build a world-class promotional investment engine - one that deploys spend in discounts, affordability, and retention with precision, discipline, and measurable ROI. As a Consumer Promotions Strategy Manager - Strategic Bets, you will create promotional strategies to accelerate DoorDash's 0 to 1 strategic bets. You will own the strategy of promotional campaigns to scale these new bets and work to improve the efficiency and payback of the campaign through testing and experimentation, informed through ongoing analysis of customer data. Work with complex data sets to develop strategic, analysis-motivated consumer pricing and promotions plans Analyze campaign results to identify drivers of performance and opportunities to iterate on test structure Able to manage budget across several business areas and own the forecast of initiatives across multiple campaigns Partner with our Lifecycle Marketing, Campaign Operations, and Strategy & Operations teams to test and manage multiple consumer promotions across hundreds of geographies across the U.S. Collaborate with business partners across the company supporting our strategic bets to build together for different business goals that are rapidly scaling Establish a strong working relationship with cross functional stakeholders in our Retention, Product, Tech & Operations, Analytics and Strategy teams We're excited about you because you have... Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience and 5+ years of experience in finance/management consulting, business operations, growth marketing/marketing analytics, or business analytics Experience digging into large data sets, translating it into applicable insights, proposing and executing data driven strategies to own the performance Experience leading a team, hiring and mentoring junior team members Strong analytical/SQL skills; able to build forecasting models for marketing campaigns Advanced Excel skills to perform complex functions A record of driving business results via cross-channel marketing campaigns Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills Experience with segmentation tools, and complex data structures and systems Experience translating data into applicable insights for partners We expect this position to be filled by 8/3/2026.
