General Duties and Responsibilities Promote and uphold The McWane Way principles, values, and behaviors. Adhere to safety protocols outline in the Tyler Union Safety Management Program. Assist supervisors and managers in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Follow ergonomic and safe lifting techniques. Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues. Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities ( Other duties may be assigned.) Interpret work orders and verbal instructions to determine tasks and materials. Operate and monitor machines to ensure product quality and resolve malfunctions. Set up and operate core-making machinery, adjusting parameters such as pressure, temperature, and cycle times to meet production specifications. Install and change over core boxes as needed for production runs. Operate and maintain the core sand mixer and related equipment. Monitor machines during operation to ensure product quality and promptly resolve any malfunctions. Perform routine machine setup and troubleshooting to maintain optimal performance. Maintain accurate records of production output, material usage, and equipment performance. Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Meet or exceed established hourly production targets. Report equipment issues or production errors to supervisors in a timely manner.
