- Practical experience with molecular biology assays supporting transformation work
- Ph.D. in Plant Biology, Plant Biotechnology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, or a closely related field
- Preferred
- Experience with Agrobacterium-mediated transformation systems
- Familiarity with biolistic DNA delivery methods
- Experience working with genome-edited plant materials
- Familiarity with vector construction for plant transformation or editing
- Experience optimizing protocols in recalcitrant crops
- Experience with qPCR or Southern blot analysis
