JOB DESCRIPTION: Prepares the Project Quality plans and Inspection Test plans according to project specifications. Prepares welding procedure specification and conduct welder qualification tests. Prepares quality control procedures and repair procedures for welding. Conducts stage-wise inspections like material/fit up/visual/bolt tightening/painting for fabrication and erection works. Review and witness non-destructive testing like ultrasonic testing and magnetic particle testing. Liaises with Project Managers/Engineers for day-to-day inspection activities at the shop/site. Attends weekly meetings and coordinates with clients. Liaises with Client inspectors / third-party inspectors. Maintains good documentation. Undertaking duties and/or responsibilities as and when appropriately assigned by the HOD.
