Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Demonstrable experience in working in Agile Delivery teams adopting agile tools
• Demonstrable experience of working as a BA, investigating, assimilating, and analysing different needs, constraints, and problems. Able to document the outcomes in simple, easy to understand language
• Experience working in the Public Sector
• Knowledge of GDS (Government Digital Service) or DSSS (Digital Scotland Service Standard) is desirable but not essential
• Demonstrable experience in showcasing analytical skills including communication, stakeholder management, and organisation.
• Experience in process modelling and customer journey mapping and assisting user testing.
• Experience of working with both business and technical stakeholders to develop key operating procedures.
• Experience of working with various tools and technologies such as Confluence for documentation and JIRA for building tickets and user stories.
• Understanding of Service Maps and targeting operating models to align your outputs and outcomes with them
• 2+ years of practical experience as a Business Analyst
• Experience in a Business Analyst or Product Owner role, with product ownership experience being a strong advantage
• Have worked in the Public Sector
• Technical experience welcomed but not essential.
• Security clearance preferred or eligible to gain
