Commercial Executive (Estimating)

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Marine, or related disciplines).
• Proactive team player with strong ownership mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with capability to manage data, reporting, and commercial documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen interest in commercial functions such as estimating, costing, contract management, and billing.
• Relevant exposure in Engineering, Operations, and/or Project Management will be advantageous and considered for accelerated progression or higher-level roles.

• Mon - Thu: 8:00am - 5:15pm
• Fri: 8:00am - 4:30pm

Additional Information

Lead the development of cost estimates by translating technical specifications and drawings into competitive and commercially sound pricing. Build and validate detailed estimates across labour, materials, and subcontractors to support winning project strategies. Partner cross-functionally with Project and Procurement teams to challenge assumptions and optimise cost positions. Contribute to pricing of variation works and gain hands-on exposure to real commercial negotiations and decision-making.
