About the role
Job Duties Work on customer sites within semiconductor cleanroom environments. Provide software support for all Semiconductor customers in the Canon's region. Troubleshoot software issues and prepare technical reports for customers. Set up and maintain lithography tools and related supporting software. Escalate software issues to Japan headquarters when necessary. Plan and conduct software training or knowledge-sharing sessions for engineers and team members. Act as a bridge between Japan headquarters and local engineers for software-related issues. Required Skills and Experience Experience in software support for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Proficiency in the Japanese language (reading, writing, and speaking); Japanese fluency as to support Japanese related customer and HQ Basic knowledge and hands-on experience with Linux OS commands and operations. Experience with online specifications, including requirement clarification and specification negotiation with customers, is preferred.
