The BOM Technician / Estimator for DIS-TRAN Steel is responsible for estimating project costs based on customer requests. This includes reviewing proposals, drawings, specifications, and other related documentation to determine labor, material, and time requirements needed to complete each project. In addition to estimating, this role is responsible for accurately and timely entering job information into the Epicor ERP system. The BOM Technician / Estimator serves as a key point of contact for job-related inquiries, including drawing clarifications, job status updates, and revisions driven by internal teams or customer requirements.
