About the role

Iovance Biotherapeutics is an immuno-oncology company focused on the development and commercialization of novel cancer immunotherapies based on tumor infiltrating lymphocytes (TIL). Iovance is seeking an Intern to support various activities and projects across Manufacturing. This role will support various departments and teams across the organization with exposure to Operations, Supply Chain, Capital Planning, interacting with Finance, Regulatory, Clinical and Commercial Operations

Responsibilities

  • Support the Capital Planning Program by gathering date, preparing spreadsheets and performing basic analysis
  • Support project management, recording of meeting minutes, action logs, action follow up, etc.
  • Develop flowcharts, identifying critical steps, timelines and resource requirements to identify and catalogue opportunities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of roadmaps that focus on the optimizing business processes across departments
  • Work with leadership to identify appropriate metrics at various employee levels, collect relevant data, and create visualizations that monitor project status and opportunity/benefits tracking.
  • Perform basic process observation, including data gathering and data entry to perform analysis using Excel.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by leader.
  • Education:
  • Must be currently enrolled in a degree program at an accredited university/college.
  • Must have completed at least one year of study at an accredited university/college prior to internship commencing.
  • Strong interpersonal and team-building skills, effective communication (both written and verbal), proactive problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organization skills and an ability to prioritize effectively to deliver results within reasonably established guidelines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Mental : Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem-solving, analysis, and discretion; ability to handle work-related stress; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously; and ability to meet deadlines.
