Network Engineer (12-hour Shift)

Responsibilities

• System Guardian: Perform daily health checks and monitor network performance to ensure proactive stability.
• Incident Responder: Take the lead on troubleshooting and resolving connectivity issues, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Security Enforcer: Manage firewall rules, conduct security audits, and monitor for unauthorized activities.
• Configuration Master: Oversee network changes, firmware upgrades, and maintain rigorous documentation and backups.
• Project Support: Collaborate on network expansions, deployments, and disaster recovery testing.
• What You Bring:
• Foundational Knowledge: CCNA certification or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience in network administration (routers, switches, firewalls, and IDS/IPS).
• Technical Literacy: Proficiency in core protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and familiarity with modern monitoring tools.
• Analytical Mindset: A strong aptitude for problem-solving and an eagle-eye for detail during incident response.
• Operational Readiness: Ability to work a 12-hour shift pattern to ensure 24/7 service continuity.
