The incumbent will be responsible for inspection, review and verification of contractors work efforts deliverable products and services reports plans and invoices under assigned contracts. You may qualify at the NH-04 if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH - 03/GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Applicants are required to meet 3 of 6 statements in order to be qualified: Assisting in the technical monitoring or administration of a contract based on the Federal Acquisition Regulation supplements directives, policies procedures, and practices in order. Monitoring all aspects of the day-to-day administration of a contract using financial management theories, principles, and practices. Understanding and knowledge of a wide variety of contracts and incentive arrangements to include Firm Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursement, Time & Materials, incentive fees, award fees, and award terms and their impact on costs, schedule and performance in order to monitor contractor's progress and performance, including verifying performance of contract requirements. Understanding of COR/COTR roles, responsibilities, and functions in the Federal sector to assist in meeting the government's contractual obligations. Recognize and analyze problems, conduct research, summarize results, and make appropriate recommendations and technical interpretations. Gather, analyze, organize, and present data and supporting analyses to maintain liaison and direct communications with contractor and contracting officer. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
