HVAC Electronics Mechanic (DDC)

About the role

This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Office of the Chief of Operations, Superintendent, Capitol Building, Assistant Superintendent, Tenant Services and Facility Operations Division, Maintenance Branch, HVAC-R Section. The incumbent performs progressively more complex assignments on electronic equipment and control systems frequently solving multi-dimensional problems while inspecting, troubleshooting, maintaining and adjusting heating and cooling systems. You must meet all eligibility and qualification requirements by the closing date of the job announcement. You must meet the following SCREEN-OUT(S) required for this position. Ability to perform the work of and HVAC Electronics Mechanic (DDC) without more than normal supervision WG-12: Independently utilizes knowledge for advance troubleshooting and repair of digital control programming; installation, repairing testing, overhauling and modification of multiple HVAC electronic systems, utilizing a comprehensive knowledge of electronic principles and practices.
