About the role
The Ramp Service Supervisor is responsible for managing and coordinating all ramp operations during the assigned shift to ensure safe, efficient, and timely aircraft turnaround. Duties and Responsibilities Work closely with Resource Allocators to plan and deploy manpower and Ground Service Equipment (GSE) for all assigned flights, ensuring operational efficiency. Ensure all GSE are serviceable and operationally ready, and promptly report any defects or maintenance requirements. Conduct pre-shift safety briefings to reinforce safe work practices, communicate operational updates, highlight key priorities and critical focus areas. Supervise and attend all flight handling activities and ensure full compliance with safety, security and regulatory on the apron. Maintain proper bay housekeeping standards to ensure a safe, clean, and hazard-free operational environment every shift. Respond promptly to requests from airline customers, especially during short ground time or heavy load factor operations and coordinate quick turnaround support. Monitor the progress of flight handling activities and take proactive measures to prevent delays, operational disruptions, or safety incidents. Ensure compliance with all company policies, workplace safety, security, and health regulations, and airport authority regulations. Support the Shift Duty Manager in managing staff discipline, performance, and overall operational effectiveness. Participate in risk management committees Perform any ad-hoc duties or operational assignments as assigned by the reporting officer and management.
Requirements
- Minimum GCE 'N' Levels or at least 2 GCE 'O' Level passes
- Minimum 4 years of ramp handling experience
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in ground handling or aviation operations
- Valid LTA Class 3 Driving License and valid Class 3 Airside Driving Permit (ADP). LTA Class 4 or Class 4 ADP (preferred)
- Demonstrated leadership capability and ability to manage and supervise a team
