Job Description/Preferred Qualifications The applications engineer in this position will be a key growth enabler for the Broadband Plasma Division (BBP). BBP provides market-leading patterned wafer optical inspection systems for leading-edge IC manufacturing. Logic, foundry, and memory customers depend on BBP products to detect yield-critical defects for process debug and excursion monitoring at advanced process nodes. Job Responsibilities The candidate is required to develop an in-depth expertise in product operation, applications, and customer processes. Collaborate with critical customers to ensure KLA products are adopted and applied to their unique problems. Support for pre-sale activities that include product demos, product presentations, development of technical papers, and support at trade shows. Support for post-sale activities that include customer training, customer support, understanding customer processes, and development of new use cases. Support for internal customers such as service, engineering, and operations.
