About the role
The Software Engineer I position works within the Application Development & Support team to provide software programming for new software, production support and maintenance for existing software, as well as ad-hoc support of key departmental business areas, databases, applications, and tools which drive business functions. Computer Skills Good knowledge and experience of Python, Java or any other modern object-oriented programming languages. Good knowledge and experience of modern web application development frameworks, such as Angular, React, JavaScript, Spring Boot, Sprint MVC, Hibernate, J2EE. Good knowledge and experience of modern RDBMS products (Oracle, PostgreSQL etc.) and SQL programming language. Good knowledge and experience with Unix/Linux, scripting languages (such as Python, Shell etc.), Kubernetes, DevOps (Jenkins and CI/CD) Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access). Experience in Agile software development lifecycle. Familiar with JIRA/Confluence tools. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations None required. Prefer familiarity with PBM business model (plans, programs, and practices) as well as pharmaceutical practices (nomenclature, medications).
