Responsibilities
- Interior Design & Concept Development
- ▪ To aid the Design Director(s) in develop interior design concepts, mood boards, material palettes, and finishing schedules for high-end healthcare and mixed-use projects, ensuring alignment with evidence-based design (EBD) principles.

- Visualization & Presentation

- ▪ Prepare compelling client-facing decks that communicate design intent clearly to both clinical stakeholders and project owners, aided by a Design Director.
- ▪ Leverage AI-assisted design tools, including Agentic AI and Machine Learning applications to explore design options, accelerate visualization workflows, and contribute to the firm's innovation culture.
- Research & Knowledge Sharing
- ▪ Conduct structured research into current trends in healthcare interior design, hospitality-influenced patient experience models, and biophilic and Salutogenic design strategies; synthesize findings for project application aided by Artificial Intelligence tools.
- ▪ Proactively identify knowledge gaps within the studio and surface relevant insights, emerging products, or industry innovations to the firm's leadership to improve workflows and reduce waste and abortive work.
- ▪ Maintain an organized library of material samples, product specifications, furniture vendor contacts, finish references, case studies, and benchmarking data.
- Collaboration & Project Support
- ▪ Work closely with architects and medical planners.
- ▪ Assist in coordinating with furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) suppliers, obtaining quotations, and managing sample approvals.
- ▪ Participate in client meetings, site visits, and workshops; assist in preparing meeting minutes, design reports, and project correspondence.
- ▪ Support the Project Director during overseas project travel when required, with applicable travel allowances provided.
- QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- ▪ Diploma in Interior Design required; Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or a related discipline is strongly preferred.
- ▪ 1-2 years of professional experience in a hospitality, luxury resort, or high-end residential design environment is advantageous; fresh graduates with a demonstrably strong portfolio and positive attitude will be considered.
- ▪ Proficient in SketchUp and the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator); experience with rendering platforms (Lumion, Enscape, 3D Studio Max, or equivalent) is a plus.
- ▪ Competent in or demonstrably enthusiastic about AI-assisted design tools (e.g., Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Agentic AI workflows, AI mood-board generators).
- ▪ Keen eye for detail, material selection, and spatial composition, with a portfolio that demonstrates design range and quality of finish.
