Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related quantitative/technical discipline.
- 5-10 years of experience in data analytics / data engineering roles (banking preferred)
- Proficient and good experience in SQL and database management (i.e. Oracle, IBM DB, MySQL, Teradata etc) and analytic tools (BI tools i.e. Tableau/Qlik/Power BI etc)
- Proficient in Python programming for data transformation, automation, analytics, and application development (client-server web or desktop applications) - SQL, Python, R, Excel/VBA or other relevant programming languages
- Experience in Global Markets or banking is preferred
- Experience in Murex particularly in Murex database structure/UDM for Risk Exposure and P/L reporting is preferred
- Experience in Teradata, InFluxDB, Hadoop, Spark, Apache HIVE, HUE is preferred
- Knowledge of server/network/system management and task scheduling, including server setup, network protocols, system monitoring, and automation
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively within the team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate across diverse teams
- Strong ownership mindset with ability to manage development tasks alongside day-to-day production support and operational responsibilities
