**Required:** - Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain) - Strong communication and people skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues - Reliable, responsible, and organised approach to work with meticulous attention to detail - Genuine passion for childcare and playwork, with a positive, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude - Ability to create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment where children can thrive Sound understanding of health and safety principles and safeguarding requirements - Ability to manage groups of children and promote positive behaviour - Energy, creativity, and flexibility in approach to problem-solving **Desirable:** Previous experience working with children in a childcare, playwork, activity leader, or similar role - First Aid certification or willingness to undertake training - Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities - Experience in modelling positive behaviour and supporting children's emotional wellbeing - Familiarity with holiday club or summer camp environments #JAGL
