Design Engineer

About the role

Job Responsibilities Prepare and coordinate ECC remedial works design in accordance with project specifications and engineering standards. Coordinate structural plans, drawings, and design details with consultants, designers, subcontractors, and project teams. Prepare and review temporary works designs and related engineering documentation. Review and evaluate design submissions from subcontractors for compliance with project requirements. Assist in resolving design-related technical issues and provide engineering support during project execution. Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, drawings, and method statements where required. Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, project specifications, and company quality standards. Attend technical coordination meetings and liaise with consultants, clients, and other stakeholders. Maintain proper design documentation, drawing revisions, and engineering records. Perform other engineering duties assigned by the Design Manager or Project Manager. Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. Minimum 3 years experience in construction industry. Candidates with relevant construction or infrastructure project experience will have an added advantage. Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of Revit or other engineering design software is an advantage. Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.
