We are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to join our team. This is a remote covering Portugal based in Madrid, Spain role, reporting to the Senior Sales Engineering Manager in the Solutions Consulting department. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to our clients, guiding their transformational journey by presenting the Zscaler cloud security platform and gathering technical requirements to promote our value proposition. You will set the strategic vision, translating customer goals into enticing, high-impact recommendations across presentations, demonstrations, and proofs of value (POVs). What you'll do (Role Expectations) Present the Zscaler cloud security platform to prospective customers Set the vision and translate goals into enticing and relevant recommendations Act as a trusted advisor to our clients while aiding their transformational journey Gather customer technical requirements and promote the value proposition in POV, presentations, and demos with prospects and customers Partner closely with Account Executives, cross-functional specialists, and Zscaler extended teams like Architects and Business Value teams to shape an account strategy Who You Are (Success Profile) You thrive in ambiguity. What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications) Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions to optimize outcomes within your functional domain At least 8 years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Systems Integrator Deep knowledge of enterprise network or cloud security technologies Experience working with Value Selling Methodologies to identify, qualify, and scope opportunities, build account and territory plans, and deliver proof of concept engagements to convert opportunities into technical victories Proven track record of working across the Portuguese market paired with fluency in Portuguese What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) Experience demonstrating, architecting, or positioning AI-powered threat detection, automated anomaly mitigation, or generative AI security controls within cloud architectures Cloud Platform and other relevant certifications such as CISSP or CCNP, combined with tactical experience in SASE, Identity, Proxy technology, Cybersecurity, DLP, CASB, or CNAPP Professional fluency in English #LI-Remote #LI-LS2 Zs
