Partner Resourcing Coordinator (FTC) London PURPOSE OF THE ROLE We are seeking to strengthen our Partner Resourcing team with the addition of a Partner Resourcing Coordinator. In this role, you will help ensure that all partner candidates experience a structured, well-informed, and positive recruitment journey, while also supporting our partners and teams in developing a clear understanding of their target markets and identifying growth opportunities. You will work closely with the Partner Resourcing team to manage lateral partner recruitment for the firm globally, contributing to both the strategic direction and operational delivery of our approach. THE TEAM The Partner Recruitment team at Addleshaw Goddard currently consist of three dedicated partner resourcing managers, supported by an Executive PA who cover the global recruitment efforts at this level across the firm. We are responsible for managing and enhancing the journey of partner candidates from introduction through to onboarding. The team plays a central role in ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience, while supporting the firm's strategic growth objectives. Our other responsibilities include: Working collaboratively with agents to ensure they have the information needed to approach, engage, and introduce the correct talent, and we provide them with the market intelligence required to do so effectively. Managing and negotiating terms of business with external recruitment agents, ensuring compliance with AG's procurement, risk management, and data protection policies. The team maintains central records, oversees compliance, handles queries or disputes, and regularly reviews and updates agreements to reflect market or firm policy changes. Working closely with HR Business Partners and Commercial Finance Managers in relevant business groups to develop robust business cases for partner hires, gathering and analysing data on team structures, financial performance, market trends, and strategic priorities. The team supports partners in articulating the commercial rationale, projecting revenue generation, and identifying risks. We coordinate information for internal approvals, ensure alignment with the firm's growth strategy, and facilitate discussions to address queries from decision-makers. Providing hands-on guidance to sponsor partners and candidates in completing the LPQ, ensuring all relevant information (including client relationships, business plans, conflicts, and compliance matters) is captured accurately. The team educates lateral candidates and agents on AG's partner compensation structure, covering remuneration, bonus schemes, and equity arrangements to ensure transparency and manage expectations. We also supply up-to-date information on the firm's financial performance, including revenue growth, profitability, and market positioning, so candidates and agents clearly understand AG's stability and prospects. Driving direct sourcing efforts through market mapping to identify and assess potential talent, giving partner groups valuable insights into their target markets, competitor activity, and emerging trends. This enables informed decision-making around growth opportunities and recruitment strategy. By making direct approaches to candidates, we engage them confidentially and manage their recruitment journey in a way that is tailored to the firm's needs, ensuring a consistent candidate experience and supporting strategic business objectives. YOUR AREAS OF KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE Strong understanding of the legal market and an ability to demonstrated knowledge of law firm structures (including the sectors they operate in), partner recruitment dynamics, and current trends within the UK and international legal sectors. Proven track record in recruiting for partner or senior positions, ideally within professional services or legal environments. Creativity and proactive approach. Ability to contribute fresh ideas and innovative solutions to improve recruitment processes and candidate experience, supporting continuous team improvement and adapting to changing business needs. Strong organisational skills and the ability to balance competing priorities, ensuring time is managed effectively and recruitment activities are aligned with business needs.
