Responsibilities

  • Lead IT and technology due diligence across acquisitions and carve outs, assessing enterprise architecture and systems to determine integration or separation complexity, dependencies, risks, opportunities and potential synergies.

  • Support the development and delivery of high quality transaction documentation (e.g. IT integration or separation blueprints, steer co reports and papers addressing strategic issues)
  • Lead and contribute to the development of Technology M&A methodologies and tools, staying abreast of technological trends, AI and M&A best practices.

  • Take ownership of developing the M&A Technology pipeline by understanding client requirements and identifying opportunities.
  • About You:
  • Proven experience (typically 12+ years) in leading technology programmes for mergers, acquisitions, outsourcing or large-scale IT transformation programmes.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT architectures, systems integration, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, data management and technology commercials.
  • An ability to operate at pace, taking a structured top down approach to complex issues in environments with incomplete information.
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering large, complex programmes on time and within budget.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, capable of influencing senior executives.
  • Experience working in consulting, professional services or client facing environments is highly desirable.
  • Relevant project or programme management qualifications such as PMP, Prince2, or equivalent are advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

You will lead and grow our Technology M&A capability across all aspects of the M&A lifecycle for both buy side and sell side engagements. As the Technology Leader for transactions, you will be responsible for supporting complex integration and separation projects, leading value creation initiatives, and developing M&A tech capability in Deloitte.
