Responsibilities

  • Produce, validate and maintain regular reporting and dashboards covering: Payment performance and costs
  • Fraud and chargeback trends
  • Operational metrics for the fraud and payments teams

  • Essential
  • Basic to intermediate Excel skills (e.g. lookups, index/match, pivot tables, data manipulation)
  • A foundational understanding of SQL and strong willingness to develop further
  • Strong numerical and analytical ability
  • High attention to detail and a structured approach to problem solving
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to take ownership and learn
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Genuine interest in data, eCommerce or payments
  • Desirable
  • Experience working with SQL and structured datasets (e.g. BigQuery or similar)
  • Exposure to BI tools such as Power BI, Looker/Data Studio or Tableau
  • Understanding of online payment journeys (authorisations, declines, checkout flows)
  • Awareness of fraud, chargebacks or loss prevention concepts
  • Experience in retail, eCommerce, finance or other high‑transaction environments
  • Understanding of basic data governance and handling of personal data

We're looking for a Payments Data Analyst to join our Digital Risk team at Frasers Group. Reporting into the Payments Data Analytics Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the analysis and reporting of eCommerce payments and fraud performance. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their data career who is passionate about analytics, payments, and eCommerce, and keen to develop their skills in a fast‑paced, commercial environment.
