We have an amazing opportunity for a Eastmont - Health Services Administrator to join our team! Starting pay for this position is $90,000 per year. What you need to succeed: NE Nursing Home Administrator's license in good standing. Minimum three years' experience. Assisted Living Facility Administrator's license or be willing to sign up for the next class. Essential functions & responsibilities Works collaboratively with Department Directors and Executive Director to develop and promote strategic planning for Eastmont. Plans, develops, organizes and directs the facility's Quality Assurance Performance Improvement. Plans, modifies and maintains the facility's HIPAA Compliance Programs as the HIPAA Compliance Officer. Develops and maintains written policies and procedures that govern the operation of the facility. Ensures healthcare staffing meets residents' needs, as identified in the Resident Services Agreement or plan of care. Interprets the facility's policies and procedures to team members, residents, family members, visitors and government agencies. Assures that all team members, visitors and the general public follow established policies and take action to correct violations. Ensures procedures for reporting any evidence of abuse, neglect or exploitation are followed and reported in accordance with state statutes. Ensures investigations are completed and action taken to prevent re-occurrence until investigation is completed. Responsible for promoting annual compliance with all regulatory agencies. Oversees the preparation of the annual operating budget, capital equipment and improvement budget for the health care areas. Monitors monthly financial statements to promote a fiscally sound position for Eastmont. Acts within prescribed guidelines of the approved operating budget. Attends committee and meetings when required. Represents the facility at, and participates in, management level meetings with outside organizations. Maintains a good public relations program that serves the best interests of the facility and community alike. Participates in the facility's personnel process when necessary. This may include but is not limited to hiring, terminating employment, disciplinary actions and grievance hearings. Maintains an excellent relationship with the medical staff and other professional and supervisory staff. Assists Department Directors in the planning, conducting, scheduling of in-service training classes, on-the-job training and orientation programs to assure the current policies and procedures are reviewed and updated as necessary. Chairs the Safety Committee, the Culture of Excellence Committee and any others as directed. Attends workshops, seminars and educational sessions to keep updated on changes in the healthcare industry and meet CEU requirements for the Nursing Home Administrator license. Reviews accidents and incidents and makes recommendations for an effective safety program for residents and staff. Performs the necessary duties of the facility's abuse coordinator. This includes, but is not limited to, carrying out the facility's abuse and prevention protocol by initiating and coordinating abuse and neglect investigations. Reviews resident complaints and grievances and makes written reports of action taken. Assists the Admissions Coordinator and Director of Nursing in pre-screening potential new residents. Develops, maintains, inputs and transmits monthly data to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services in accordance with Electronic Staff Data Submission Payroll-based Journal requirements. Maintains a positive outlook toward employer and work responsibilities. Understands and adheres to all policies and procedures at Eastmont as set forth in departmental policies and the Employee Handbook. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Must have strong communication skills and be able to read, write and speak English well enough to communicate effectively with residents, family members, doctors and peers.
