The Manufacturing Manager will provide Operations input into the design and construction of a new Oral Health manufacturing facility, oversee startup and qualification operations, and transition to daily operations leadership within the Manufacturing and Packaging Departments. These should be undertaken in-line with the expectations of a high-performance organization; zero accidents, zero defects, and zero waste. The role will be responsible for creating and implementing SOPs for the new facility, onboarding and training of new Operators and Maintenance Technicians as per the ramp up schedule of the project, and driving vertical startup to high OEEs whilst coaching and holding their team accountable for performance. EHS Responsibilities - All Associates Know, understand and comply with all Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) guidelines Report unsafe conditions Report all injuries, illnesses and hazardous materials releases Wear personal protective equipment Attend EHS training programs Follow all safe work procedures Quality Responsibilities - All Associates Adhere to all Quality Compliance standards. Adhere to QMS policy and regulatory requirements. Job Responsibilities Provide Operational inputs into design reviews for the new build Develop and implement operational standards in accordance to Safety, cGMP, and Quality standards and requirements such that they are ready for day 1 operations without delay. Build training and onboarding plans for Operators and Maintenance Technicians Support the recruitment process for the Operations department through the lifecycle of the project. Coordinate Operations support to the commissioning and validation plans. Develop and drive aggressive vertical start-up plans to target OEEs/throughputs. Deploy CI ways of working and organisational structure to drive ongoing performance improvement Collaborate, influence, and have direct engagement with executive leadership during onsite meetings, kaizen events, workshops, and site reviews. Foster successful cross functional relationships with Quality, Logistics, Engineering, CI, and other groups which support day-to-day operations.
