Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon - Virtua Reconstructive Orthopedics - Mt. Holly

Responsibilities

• -Provide comprehensive evaluation and surgical management of orthopedic trauma patients.
• -Participate in trauma call coverage and emergency orthopedic services.
• -Perform operative and non-operative treatment of acute musculoskeletal injuries.
• -Collaborate with trauma surgeons, emergency physicians, intensivists, rehabilitation specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
• -Supervise and mentor advanced practice providers, residents, and medical students, as applicable.
• -Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• -Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical program development.
• -Contribute to departmental growth through clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and community engagement.

Requirements

• -MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• -Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency.
• -Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery.
• -Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• -Experience in managing complex trauma cases.
• -Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care.

This is an exceptional opportunity to provide comprehensive orthopedic trauma care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering outstanding patient outcomes. The successful candidate will diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of musculoskeletal injuries, including complex fractures, pelvic and acetabular injuries, periarticular fractures, non-unions, malunions, and polytrauma-related orthopedic conditions. The position offers access to advanced surgical technology, dedicated trauma operating room time, and a robust referral network.
