The Service & Carrier Manager has accountability from fulfilment to the customer for the pick up, drop off and delivery of all available parcel propositions, its performance, suitability and cost along with customer satisfaction of delivery method. The role will involve management of all contracted 3rd party carriers as well as Asda's own logistics, including service, commercial, legal and compliance related activity. You will own and develop a network of carriers and technological partners to maximise customer satisfaction whilst delivering operational efficiencies/improvements and reducing cost. Over and above this, each area of Asda may have additional requirements which may require spending more days in the office, visiting suppliers, stores or depots.
