About the role
Join our team as a Quality Assurance Specialist professional supporting training center operation. In this role, you will help implement and maintain a robust quality management system, conduct audits, and ensure adherence to regulatory, contractual, and customer requirements. Ensure follow-up actions are completed within agreed timelines and escalate non-compliance issues when necessary. Identify and coordinate improvements to the QA/compliance monitoring system. Verify that organizational policies and procedures: Align with regulatory requirements Effectively mitigate quality and compliance risks Provide feedback on training and business processes (e.g., Q-Pulse/Enlighten or TCOM). Produce regular QA reports by training center, regulatory jurisdiction, and business unit. Prepare and conduct quarterly Quality Management Reviews with key stakeholders and regulatory representatives. Ensure QA reporting aligns with global QA policies, objectives, and best practices. Deliver or coordinate Quality Management System (QMS)/Compliance Monitoring training across training locations. Train, coordinate, and oversee the work of local quality auditors across the Americas. Perform secondary duties when required (e.g., Export/ITAR control reviews). Operate with functional supervisory responsibility for local QA auditors (no direct reports). Exercise sound business judgment while adhering to budget considerations (no direct budget ownership).
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance or compliance auditing in the aviation industry.
- Basic knowledge of aviation regulatory principles.
- Functional proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Ability to work independently with sound judgment and prioritization skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks across locations simultaneously.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders (e.g., operations, training, technical teams).
- Ability to interact professionally with external stakeholders, including customers and regulators.
- Proficiency in standard IT tools and systems.
- Experience in pilot training, aircraft operations, or simulator training center environments.
- Working knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., Q-Pulse, Enlighten, TCOM).
- Demonstrated ability to support and promote a quality and compliance culture.
