The Job: As a National Account Manager, you'll be part of our Tools and Outdoor team working as a virtual employee. You'll get to: Execute distributor show events, manage sales growth plans & execute new product launches. Flawlessly execute category sales plans for all assigned brands and product categories (i.e., DeWALT, Irwin, Stanley, to name a few) Achieve weekly, quarterly & yearly sales goals. Develop strong relationships with key account personnel. Work effectively with your manager on a weekly/monthly basis. Complete all communication requirements with accounts timely and effectively. Working with wholesaler accounts to find new and creative ways to win the wall and increase sales. Become the liaison between retail stores, wholesaler accounts & our channel marketing team. Ensure standards are met to maintain strong brand presence. Work with buyers to promote and expand brand exposure. Become a product knowledge expert. You also have: College or University degree/diploma in Marketing, Business, or relevant area of study 2-3 Years retail and/or wholesale sales experience Experience with retail events, product demonstration, new product launches Ability to develop, forecast and launch aggressive promotional strategies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, as well as in a group to achieve team goals. Strong organizational and time management skills Computer proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook Clean Drivers Abstract required. Ability to travel 30-35% Ecommerce experience required. Total target cash compensation offered may vary depending on multiple factors including job level, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and in compliance with local wage requirements. This role is eligible for a sales incentive plan or commission. Therefore, the total target cash compensation range is inclusive of base salary and target variable cash compensation. Please note that salary is only one component of total rewards at Stanley Black & Decker. The target cash compensation range listed in this job posting reflects the range for the primary location specified. The cash compensation range may vary for other locations.
