Position Overview TFG Grant Writing Consultants work remotely and have the flexibility to accept grant project assignments based on their areas of expertise, interest, and availability. Responsibilities Grant Writing Consultants work closely with TFG staff and clients to identify and pursue grant funding opportunities. Responsibilities may include the following: Support all phases of the grant development lifecycle Assist in the development and refinement of project concepts and funding strategies Develop a full proposal narrative and other attachments Guide budget development, justification, and finalization Develop all application materials to ensure alignment with funder requirements and priorities Coordinate the finalization of application materials and guide the submission process Ensure compliance with grant guidelines and formatting standards, meeting all requirements leading to a funder review after submission Maintain clear communication with clients and internal teams throughout the development process Qualifications TFG is specifically looking to work with consultants who have demonstrated experience researching and securing grants in the following areas: Transportation and Infrastructure Broadband Energy and Power Water, Wastewater, and Stormwater Community & Economic Development Public Health and Social Services Science and Technology Innovation (R&D) Hazard Mitigation and Disaster Assistance Justice and Public Safety Parks and Recreation Education (K-12 and IHE) and Workforce Development Arts, Culture, and Humanities Agriculture and Rural Development Tribal Programming Candidates must meet the following minimum criteria: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university Master's Degree or higher encouraged 4+ years of professional grant writing and research experience Experience with state and federal grants and working with government agency applicants Experience with government entity applicants Benefits Competitive hourly rate to commensurate with work experience and qualifications.
