Additional Information

As a Project Engineer you will be involved with all forms of planning, design, and specialty services related to the stormwater and water resources engineering field. Projects often involve hydrology, hydraulics, floodplain analyses, detention/water quality BMP design, stream restoration, bridge scour, trail design, stormwater management plans, MS4 compliance, and water rights. The ideal candidate will have project engineering experience and be eager to continue transitioning into a future project management role. Required: Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related engineering field 6-12 years of experience in stormwater engineering Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado or ability to obtain upon hire, and have experience in providing engineering services the state Practical application of various H&H software, including HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and XPSWMM At least 3 years of experience in the following: Mentoring and leading junior engineers in technical and non-technical aspects of stormwater engineering Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record; position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travel
