About the role
We are seeking a Building Design Engineer to join our team supporting the Nevada National Security Site ! This position is full-time and will be based out of North Las Vegas, Nevada.
Responsibilities
- Generate marketing quality media conveying concepts of future AEC programs and projects facilities.
- Create documents to record progress, completed designs, and construction specifications.
- For industrial and commercial buildings, develop and review:
- building floor plans,
- system layouts,
- site layouts,
- 2-D and 3-D renderings, and
- visualizations using Revit and Lumion.
- Coordinate with architects and multiple engineering disciplines.
- Build teaming relationship with technical and other company organizations.
- Interpret and adapt guidelines for specific engineering and design cases.
Requirements
- Education & Years of Experience - Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Citizenship - To be considered, you must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work.
- Clearance - To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed.
