Job Category: Academic Staff Employment Type: Terminal (Fixed Term) Job Profile: Instructor (CHS) Job Summary: This position will include research, clinical care, and teaching. There will be 45% academic time, and 55% for clinical care. Clinical care will include patient care at Yahara Integrative Family Medicine Clinic (30%) and/or Science Drive Medical Center (10%). Duties will also include Wingra Clinic consults (5%) and Precepting (10%) as Fellowship Director determines. This position requires work to be completed onsite, at a designated campus work location. Terminal, 12 month appointment (depending on program) This position has been identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations. The selected candidate will be required to pass an initial caregiver check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years. Key Job Responsibilities: Participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health. An essential part of these duties will be working in a collegial relationship with other faculty members. Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
