Your role You act as the direct interface to the 1st level support of the local ZEISS organizations You carry out installations of new devices on-site at customers. In doing so, you are responsible, according to work instructions, for the adjustment of highly complex assemblies, you analyse novel malfunctions and define corrective measures for demanding problem situations You also perform service and maintenance on our devices (by telephone, remotely and on-site) and act in your role as a brand ambassador for ZEISS worldwide You are mainly responsible for troubleshooting and fault elimination by identifying systematic error influences and you independently analyse, resolve and document malfunctions Your profile Successfully completed degree in electronics, optronics, automation technology, microsystems technology, mechatronics, physics, or comparable technical training Relevant professional experience in technical service in semiconductor technology, special-purpose machine construction, or a comparable industrial sector Willingness to undertake multi-week business trips worldwide (approx. 60% travel) and high flexibility regarding your working hours Open-mindedness towards other cultures, ideally proven intercultural competence (especially in the Asian region) A high level of communication skills, team spirit and assertiveness Enjoyment in solving demanding technical problems and a strong service and hands-on mentality Very good German and English language skills Your ZEISS Recruiting Team: Adrian Kahl
