What's in it for you? - Industry Leading Wage: $54.04 - $60.04 - Hourly Premiums Available: o $2.25 Field Premium o $3.50 Continuous Shift Premium - Shift Rotation: 7x7 Continuous Shift OR 5x2 (Monday to Friday) - Paid Time Off in Year 1: Vacation & Sick time - 6% Employer paid pension, plus up to 1.25% additional - 6% voluntary Employee Share Purchase, earns 2% Finning match - Employer paid medical benefits - CAT certified training: Additional certifications and skill development paid for by Finning Job Description: Trouble shoot, repair and maintain CAT equipment in either a shop or field environment (possibility of remote locations) Respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed. Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment Specific Skills & Experience Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Certification Clean Drivers' Abstract (5 yr) required for field roles Demonstrated field troubleshooting skills on the Caterpillar equipment is required for field based positions Strong experience in Electrical, Hydraulic and Emissions systems are considered assets Engine and/or component rebuilding experience is beneficial Transmission or Hydraulic testing experience Previous gas engine and power generation experience would be considered an asset Important Details: This position is based out of Edmonton, on a 7x7 Continuous Shift OR 5x2 (Monday to Friday) A condition of employment may include the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol, fitness testing) and wear a respirator where applicable Union Membership: This is a unionized position.
