Store Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Customer Service:Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries and ensuring their needs are met.
• Address customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a welcoming and inclusive environment that aligns with our Halal food values.
• Staff Management:Supervise and schedule store staff, ensuring appropriate coverage during operating hours.
• Train, coach, and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service.
• Monitor employee performance and provide feedback as needed.
• Oversee staff adherence to company policies and procedures, including those specific to the handling of Halal food products.
• Inventory Management:Assist in receiving and organizing inventory shipments.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure products are well-stocked and correctly priced.
• Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and shrinkage.
• Ensure that Halal food products are handled, stored, and displayed in accordance with Halal food standards.
• Store Operations:Ensure the store is clean, organized, and properly maintained.
• Participate in opening and closing procedures.
• Implement safety and security measures to protect both staff and customers.
• Reporting:Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on store operations, sales, and inventory.
• Communicate effectively with the store manager and other team members to address any issues or opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a supervisory role within the retail or grocery industry.
• Knowledge of Halal food standards and certification is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management and reporting.
• Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to work in 3 working shifts.
