Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute lift-and-shift migrations from on-premise environments ( Proxmox ) to AWS (EC2)
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible (including Ansible Tower)
  • Design and implement database replication and synchronization mechanisms: SQL databases (using Percona tooling) and MongoDB (using MongoSync )

  • Proven experience in infrastructure automation using Terraform and Ansible
  • Strong Bash scripting skills
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPC design, VPN/Direct Connect, routing, security groups, NACLs, hybrid connectivity)
  • Familiarity with high availability and disaster recovery strategies (failover/failback)
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Skills that would be a plus:
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and workflows
  • Experience with data migration, including SQL and MongoDB replication
  • Experience with large-scale cloud migration projects
  • Certifications in AWS or DevOps-related areas
  • Proactive mindset, willingness to learn, and adaptability in dynamic environments
