Job Description Summary: The primary responsibilities of the Academic Director, Child Crisis Services is to ensure that all residents receive appropriate educational instruction that complies with state academic standards in a PRTF setting. The Academic Director, Crisis Services will be heavily involved in the licensing process under the nonpublic school classification in NC. This position coordinates closely with clinical and behavioral treatment teams so that education supports each youth's overall treatment plan. Coordination and working with the State, Department of Public Instruction, and other stakeholders across the state to ensure that all educational requirements are being met.
