Responsibilities

  • Manage the on-site EMS program, including coverage planning, readiness activities, records, and operational coordination.
  • Serve as the senior paramedic resource for EMTs and paramedics, providing clinical mentorship, guidance, and protocol oversight.
  • Develop and deliver EMS training, including skills sessions, simulation exercises, continuing education, drills, and competency assessments.
  • Support clinical quality improvement through case reviews, after-action reviews, training-gap identification, and protocol updates.
  • Perform advanced emergency care, including IV access, blood draws, IO access, intubation, medication administration, and 12-lead ECG interpretation.
  • Maintain EMS training records, certification tracking, inventory readiness, patient documentation, and cross-functional support across clinics, emergency room, and inpatient units.

Requirements

  • Current U.S. state Paramedic license with National Registry EMT-P, or current unrestricted licenses.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Advanced trauma course required, such as PHTLS, ITLS, TCCC, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in EMS instruction, field training, or clinical education.
  • Minimum three (3) years of paramedic experience.
  • Certification as a Paramedic from a recognized program.
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident with a valid passport.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain MRPT security clearance and ability to meet deployment-related medical and physical requirements.
  • Preferred
  • Paramedic experience in remote, military, international, or complex operational healthcare environments.
  • Current clearance preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, training, and rapid decision-making skills.
