Logistics & Trade Specialist (Up to $5000 + $200 transport) #NJN

Responsibilities

• Executes day to day operational activities associated with all modes of shipment for supplier inbound, inter-divisional manufacturing, finished goods replenishment, and warehouse outbound customer freight.
• Work closely with internal and external parties such as Panduit global warehouses, manufacturing, freight forwarders, carriers, or customs brokers to resolve freight related issues such as damages or lost freight, miss-deliveries, freight overages or shortages, late deliveries, and customs holds.
• Compile and maintain recordkeeping in accordance with local customs agency and Panduit audit requirement. Maintains databases and reports for the department.
• Verify invoices and generate internal requisition to allow for freight payment to carrier and freight forwarders.
• Identify and initiate continuous improvement opportunities and cost savings or cost avoidance for the company.

Requirements

• Degree in Supply Chain management, Logistics, business, or related field.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of applicable experience with logistics and supply chain, trade compliance.
• Intermediate Supply Chain knowledge - Inventory, Logistics, international trade terms, customs procedure and/or Warehousing.

Additional Information

Tuas 8.30am to 5.15pm (Mondays to Fridays), 2 days WFH $4500 - $5000 x 13 months + S$200 transport allowance
