Behaves and acts in an exemplary fashion, embodying the Novotel brand's mindset and values Maintains quality standards produced by the dishwashing machines on all chinaware, glassware, and flatware to meet hotel specifications Is in charge of the maintenance and care of all F&B operating equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and longevity Supervises and trains steward team members to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and performance expectations Enforces strict cleanliness and hygiene standards across all areas, including food preparation and service areas, storage facilities, and staff quarters Manages inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and chinaware, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effective procurement Conducts regular quality assurance inspections and audits to verify compliance with hotel and ACCOR standards Schedules and coordinates steward team rosters to ensure adequate coverage during all service periods Implements and monitors health and safety protocols in accordance with local regulations and hotel policy Maintains detailed records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and staff performance Conforms to and enforces all policies, procedures, rules, and regulations as laid down by ACCOR and the hotel to achieve the highest levels of uniformity and guest service Remains ready and responsible to perform any other duties as designated or required by Management from time to time **Required Qualifications:** Fluent in English and the national language Minimum 2 years of experience in the same position within a Midscale International business hotel with a minimum of 250 rooms 1 to 2 years of further education or equivalent professional diploma, with a focus on hospitality technology or facilities management Proven experience in supervising and training steward or housekeeping teams, with demonstrated ability to manage staff performance and adherence to standard operating procedures Knowledge of commercial dishwashing equipment, kitchen sterilisation standards, and F&B operational equipment maintenance Familiarity with health and safety regulations, hygiene standards, and ACCOR brand service standards Experience conducting quality assurance inspections and maintaining compliance documentation **Preferred Qualifications:** Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Experience with inventory management systems and cost control in hospitality settings Certification in food safety, health and safety, or hospitality management Proficiency in hotel management systems and basic computer literacy Novotel Samator Surabaya Timur is conveniently located 20 minutes away by car from Juanda International Airport through the highway and close distance to the industrial area, culinary section, well-known Universities, Shopping center, and other city attractions.
