Public Cloud - Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• In addition, you'll be part of a wider operational model, including participation in an on‑call support rota and occasional out‑of‑hours work, ensuring the reliability and performance of critical cloud services that support the bank's core operations.

• What we're looking for?
• Strong hands‑on experience with GCP services across a broad range.
• Advanced experience with Terraform and IaC.
• Proficiency in automation scripting (Python, Bash, Groovy).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Harness and GitHub.
• Experience managing environments using GKE or similar Kubernetes deployments.
• Ability to work across engineering domains with excellent communication and collaboration.
• And any experience of these would be great
• Google Cloud Professional certifications
• Experience writing security guardrails (Sentinel or similar).
• Experience with monitoring platforms such as Dynatrace or Cloud Monitoring.
• Strong creativity, adaptability and a continuous‑learning mindset.
