About the role
Job Responsibilities Assist the WSH Officer and project team in implementing Workplace Safety and Health requirements on site. Conduct daily site inspections and report unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and non-compliances. Monitor workers and subcontractors to ensure compliance with site safety rules, permit requirements, and safe work procedures. Assist in conducting toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and site inductions. Maintain and update WSH records, inspection reports, training records, and safety documentation. Follow up on corrective actions arising from inspections, audits, and incident investigations. Assist in the implementation of Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), and Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems. Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all personnel on site. Liaise with supervisors, subcontractors, and client representatives on day-to-day safety matters. Support the WSH Officer during safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations. Assist in ensuring compliance with airport-specific safety, security, and operational requirements where applicable. Perform any other WSH-related duties assigned by the WSH Officer or Project Manager. Job Requirements 5.5 day work week WSHC Level B / WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health Familiar with airside safety requirements, vehicle movement controls, and work permit processes within airport operational areas.
