As a Senior Associate in Armanino's State & Local Tax (Sales & Use Tax) practice, you will support multistate compliance and consulting engagements, contribute to technical analyses, and help deliver high-quality client service while continuing to develop your expertise in indirect tax. Job Responsibilities Prepare and review sales and use tax returns and filings across multiple jurisdictions Support sales and use tax compliance and consulting engagements, ensuring timely and accurate delivery Assist with nexus determinations, taxability analysis, and transaction-level reviews Conduct multistate tax research to support filing positions, audit responses, and client guidance Support state tax controversy matters, including audits, notices, and inquiries Assist with tax technology initiatives, including tax engine implementation, optimization, and data validation Learn and utilize cutting-edge technology to provide timely, accurate, and efficient client service Develop tools and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy in the compliance process Make recommendations on business and process improvements related to sales and use tax filings
