- Manage inventory of sample materials, hardware fittings, and colour swatches. Conduct regular stocktakes and minimise inventory loss or misplacement.
- Control store operating costs, including rent, utilities, marketing expenses, and material wastage. Manage expenditures effectively to achieve profit targets.
- Review all order drawings, dimensions, materials, and workmanship. Coordinate with factories to verify production lists, prevent costly errors, and follow up on shipping, customs clearance, and delivery schedules.
- Handle customer complaints, including sizing errors, colour discrepancies, installation issues, and delayed deliveries. Provide prompt resolutions to minimise negative customer feedback.
Requirements
- Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese). Able to understand drawings, quotations, and local documentation, and communicate independently with local partners.
- Proficient in custom furniture quotation and cost estimation. Able to calculate costs independently, including panels, hardware, shipping, and local installation, to ensure store profitability.
- Experienced in store team management and marketing lead generation. Able to plan promotional activities and convert leads into customers.
- Familiarity with cross-border order processes, including drawing verification, delivery scheduling, shipping, customs clearance, and overseas after-sales support, is an advantage.
- Familiar with Singapore's labour regulations. Self-disciplined, able to work long-term in Singapore, and capable of performing effectively in a fast-paced environment.
