Data Engineer Location: Fully Remote (UK) Salary: 45,000 - 55,000 + Benefits Contract: Permanent, Full-Time We're working with an organisation looking to strengthen its data capability with the addition of a Data Engineer. This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of data initiatives, supporting the development and optimisation of modern data platforms and pipelines that enable reporting, analytics, and business decision-making. You'll collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders while contributing to the delivery of reliable, scalable data solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain data pipelines and data integration processes Support the delivery of cloud-based data solutions Assist with data modelling, transformation, and optimisation activities Work with stakeholders to understand data requirements and business needs Monitor and improve data quality, reliability, and performance Contribute to data platform enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives Support reporting, analytics, and wider data-driven projects Required Experience 2-3 years of experience in a Data Engineer or similar data-focused role Strong SQL skills and experience with Python Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines Exposure to cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, or GCP Understanding of data warehousing and modern data platforms Experience working with structured and unstructured datasets Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders Desirable Experience Exposure to tools such as Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Fabric, Airflow, or dbt Experience using Git or similar version control tools Knowledge of CI/CD practices Familiarity with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau What's on Offer Fully remote working Competitive salary and benefits package Exposure to modern cloud and data technologies Ongoing learning and development opportunities Supportive and collaborative working environment Clear opportunities for career progression This is an excellent opportunity for a Data Engineer looking to further develop their skills while working on a range of impactful data projects within a growing and forward-thinking team.
