Production Supervisor (West / CNC / Company Transport)

Responsibilities

• Ensure all consumables are delivered to the production work stations on time.
• Responsible for reviewing production orders received from Sales and plan out daily production schedules
• Chair toolbox meeting & check attendance of Team Leads and Operators at the start of the shift to ensure all required employees are available.
• If overtime work is deemed necessary, arrange early in the shift and submit overtime requests to the Production Manager for timely approval.
• Adherence to approved manufacturing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality specifications in the manufacturing process.
• Conduct random check and ensure correct quantity and quality of finished components has been produced.
• Safety at Work - proper use of equipment, elimination of potential safety hazards, correct use of PPE, gloves, ear plugs, dust masks etc. Recommend any safety improvements.
• Housekeeping and cleanliness in accordance with 6'S' principles.
• Highlight to Production Manager for any training required for operators.
• Perform other duties as required by the Production Manager.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, including production planning experience and supervisory responsibilities.
• Able to read production drawings.
• Willing to be hands-on and learn the operation of all machines.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office.
• Experience in SAP is an added advantage.
