About the role
Reporting to the Superintendent, Mine Operations, the Senior Supervisor, Mine Operations is responsible to supervise, and direct work related to drill and blast functions, pit dewatering, ground engaging tools and short-range power while working to support the long-term goals of the operation. Requirements
- Possess a valid Shift Boss Certificate, related technical diploma, or engineering degree
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including supervisory experience
- Solid understanding of Mine's Act
- Experience with Contract Management for seasonal special projects
- Experience in blasting and valid Blasters Ticket is an asset
- Exposure to DABS System is considered an asset
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License or equivalent
